"I met Barry Storch at a friend’s 80th birthday party. We had never met but were seated together at the party. In our conversation he mentioned he sold real estate and I mentioned that my husband and I were thinking about downsizing. Being the true salesman, he gave me his card. Being the typical homeowner, I promised to call him first if we decided to sell.

Two months later we were on our way... [Barry] explained all that was involved in selling a home and assured us that he would take care of everything. We knew that we were in good hands. He was patient, assuring and very professional when explaining all the many things that had to be done.

The house had been on the market about a month when my husband had a bad fall and was hospitalized, of course, about two weeks later the house sold and the odyssey with Barry began. My husband was in the hospital from October until he died at the end of January. I had to sell the house, arrange to pack and move from a 4,500 sq. ft. family home into an 1800 sq. ft. condo that I hadn’t even found at the time. I was spending as much time as possible at the hospital. Barry come to me whenever I was to sign papers, etc., all the things you have to do when you sell your home.

I had to be out of my home by January 4th, have an estate sale, find temporary housing and a permanent place to buy. Throughout all of this drama and sadness, Barry never left my side. We spent days, then weeks looking for a place for me to live. All the time, Barry kept reassuring me that he would make it all happen.

I absolutely could not have gotten thru all this without his help, care and support. By the end of February, Barry had finally gotten me thru the ordeal of buying a new place and helping me get settled. He was simply fabulous from beginning to end.

It is always my pleasure to recommend him to anyone I know who is looking to buy or sell. The happy ending bittersweet, but my friendship began with Barry at an 80th birthday party was a blessing. I LOVE my new home. Barry, THANK YOU!"
